To: Procrastination
Whether the people with me today, stick around in future or not, you’re definitely someone I can count upon. I consider our relationship to be evolving over the years and that too in the most special way. You see, the further I want to get from you, the closer we get; whenever I plan to do something within the next hour or so and totally convince myself to avoid you, I am captivated by your charm. Eventually, that ‘something’ is postponed…
I’d be lying if I say that I longed for your presence earlier, you’re quite the ‘uninvited guest’ kind. Even though life was rather tedious before, I would much rather finish the painting that I started before lockdown (it’s been quite a few months since then) AND also the one that I underestimated for the small size of the canvas. Having said that, I feel that it would be in the best of my interest to not maintain good terms with you anymore.
Hoping that this letter reaches you in the worst of your health, (don’t get me wrong, I am humble on most occasions) awaiting your response
An ‘old’ friend
